DuPont Tyvek 400 D. Coverall. Comfortable design. Respirator Fit Hood. Elastic wrists and ankles. Elastic waist. Serged seams. White DuPont Tyvek 400 Front. Blue DuPont ProShield 10 Back.
DuPont Tyvek 400 D garments combine the protection, durability, and comfort of DuPont Tyvek fabric in the front with the comfort, softness, and breathability of DuPont ProShield 10 fabric in the back. DuPont Tyvek 400 D garments are suitable for applications where comfort requirements combine with limited protection requirements for frontal exposure. Different garment styles are available. Applications include fiberglass and composite manufacturing, wind turbines, boat building and repair, remediation, and maintenance.
The comfortable design is based on extensive user feedback to provide our most comfortable garment design, which: allows a greater range of motion when stretching and bending, provides a more tailored fit, reinforces high-stress areas for fewer blowouts, uses a longer zipper for easier donning and doffing, and features an elastic waist for better garment positioning.
Data on the mechanical characteristics of fabrics used in DuPont chemical protective garments are listed for selected clothing according to test methods and applicable European standards, where relevant. Such properties, including abrasion resistance, flex cracking resistance, tensile strength, and puncture resistance, can help assess protective performance.
